In My Father's Kitchen, a local nonprofit that aids people experiencing homelessness, will offer its pasta sauce and maple syrup for sale during coffee hour at Fayetteville's Trinity Church. There'll be cannoli, too!
It's an opportunity to meet and be inspired by IMFK's founders, John and Leigh-Ann Tumino. IMFK has assisted hundreds of people in moving from homelessness toward stable living conditions, through practical compassion and community partnership.
Trinity is accepting donations of high-protein snacks (single-serve packets of nuts, beef jerky, trail mix, peanut butter crackers, Jif-to-Go, and the like) for the city's high school food pantries. These are much needed provisions, and donations can be left inside the Chapel St. entrance.
